The Black Bear Cubs Program encompasses grades 2nd through 4th and is a player-focused program with a passion to serve the communities in which we draw from. Our Cubs Program main goal is develop a love for the game of lacrosse and make sure that they have a positive learning experience as for many this is their first experience with club lacrosse. Here we introduce our families to what we call our “Team First Culture” through positive coaching and instruction helping them with goal-setting and building a players confidence.
Our Cubs Program Director is Former Owen J. Roberts Head Coach Ben Carville who helped start the OJR program and has been heavily involved in developing the youth players in our area for well over a decade. Coach Ben is in charge of developing our Cub curriculum and practice planning.
